← Greetings: Exercise 7

Zovem Se...

ZOVEM SE means "my name is" — literally "I call myself." It's a reflexive verb, so it changes for every person, just like any other.

Zvati se (to be called) conjugates like this: zovem se (I'm called) · zoveš se (you're called) · zove se (he/she/it is called) · zovemo se (we're called) · zovete se (you all are called) · zovu se (they're called).

Notice the little word se stays put right after the verb in every form — only the ending on zov- changes to match who's talking.

Fill in the correct form of ZVATI SE

1. Ja se Marina.

2. Ti se Matija.

3. On se Mirko.

4. Ona se Sonja.

5. Mi se Marina i Ivan.

6. Vi se Stefan.

7. Oni se Stefan, Marko i Mirko.

8. One se Marija, Tanja i Sonja.
