Six words that get you through the door, the whole day, and back out again — time-of-day greetings plus the two all-purpose ones.
Serbian greetings split into two kinds: ones tied to the time of day, and ones that work any time. ĆAO and ZDRAVO are both casual and both do double duty — either one works for hello or goodbye among friends. DOVIĐENJA is the more formal goodbye, the one you'd use with a stranger or someone older.

SR (lat): Odgovori nisu osetljivi na velika/mala slova, i može latinicom ili ćirilicom. Dijakritici (č, đ) su opcioni na latinici.
СР (ћир): Одговори нису осетљиви на велика/мала слова, и може латиницом или ћирилицом. Дијакритици (ч, ђ) су опциони на латиници.
EN: Answers are not case-sensitive, and can be typed in Latin or Cyrillic script. Diacritics (č, đ) are optional in Latin.
