This one looks like vocabulary and is really aspect practice in disguise. Six verbs about money, and each appears in both partners of its pair — so the gap is never asking which word, it is asking finished or ongoing, once or repeatedly.

The verb worth stopping on is pozajmiti, because it means both lend and borrow. English needs two words; Serbian lets the case decide. Pozajmiti nekome — dative — is to lend: the money leaves you. Pozajmiti od nekoga — od + genitive — is to borrow: the money comes to you. Same verb, opposite direction, and the only clue is the little word in front.
Watch baciti pare na nešto as well. Literally to throw money at something, and it always carries a judgement — you would never use it about a purchase you approve of.
