Switch from TI to VI, and the whole question grows a little more polite — same words, different ending.
Serbian has two ways to say "you": TI for friends, family, and anyone your age or younger, and VI for strangers, elders, teachers, or anyone you'd address respectfully. Switching to VI doesn't change the question itself — it just moves the verb to its VI-form, the same form you'd use for a group of people.
Example: Kako se zoveš? (informal) → Kako se zovete? (formal) — both mean "What's your name?"
1. Kako se zoveš? → Kako se ?
2. Gde si rođen? → Gde rođeni?
3. Odakle si? → Odakle ?
4. Kako si? → Kako ?
5. Koliko imaš godina? → Koliko godina?
6. Gde živiš? → Gde ?
7. Gde radiš? → Gde ?
8. Šta radiš u slobodno vreme? → Šta u slobodno vreme?
