Austria has one of the older and larger Serbian communities in Western Europe, going back to the Gastarbeiter years of the nineteen-sixties. If you are working through this website, there is a fair chance the subject is not abstract for you.
The exercise is about nouns, and the diaspora supplies a whole family of them built on the same root:

One root, selo / seliti, and the prefix decides the direction. This is the same transparency you met with dobrotvoran and dobrovoljan earlier, and it is the single most efficient thing about Serbian vocabulary: learn the root and the prefixes, and whole families open at once.
The word dijaspora itself is Greek — a scattering of seed — and in Serbian it is feminine singular, treated as a collective: naša dijaspora je velika. Not plural, however many people it contains.
